Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust was founded in 1983 by Late Shri Sat Paul Mittal MP to propagate the ideologies of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. Late Shri Mittal was a champion of the poor and downtrodden all his life. The path shown by previous president is now being followed by the present Trustees. The Trust is actively involved in providing help and succour to the poor and the weaker sections of society irrespective of caste, creed or religion, with a special focus on education. He was awarded by Late Sh. Prem Nath Gupta as the President of the trust. He worked with total dedication and steered the ship of Nehru Sidhant Kender to glorious heights
Aims and Objectives
The aims and objectives of the Trust are:
To propagate Pandit Nehru’s ideals, philosophy and teachings.
To promote welfare of people irrespective of their caste, creed and religion.
To promote education through the implementation of scholarship programmes, Inter-School Declamation Contests and Inter-College Debates.
To promote art and culture
Contributions to NSKT
All contributions to NSKT are subject to tax exemption under Section 80-G of Income Tax Act.
Cheques of donations may be issued in favour of Nehru Sidhant Kender Trust.
NSKT is also registered under Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 (FCRA) vide Registration No. 115300026 and can also receive foreign donations. For donations, please send the cheque in favour of Sidhant Kender Trust, FCRA A/c No. 01-671357
