Mittal Panday Scholarship [Vocational]

This scholarship is given to the students of ITI for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana undergoing skill development training with the aim to help in the promotion of skills amongst women as the women participation in vocational education & training is especially low as compared to men. With the acquisition of these skills, women can have viable incomes, decent work & be major actors who can contribute equally to the economic growth of the country. The admission to the institute is on (online) basis and the National Informatics Centre (NIC), an organisation of Govt of India, has been entrusted with the task of conducting online campus counseling for admission to all the courses being run in all the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in the State of Punjab.

The applications for the scholarships are called for on the prescribed application form (Annexure A), in the month of August duly recommended by the Head of the Institute. After scrutiny of the application forms, a convenient date is fixed for the Scholarship Committee to hold a meeting for the grant of scholarship to the deserving students. This scholarship is given in single instalment of Rs. 2500/ each to 50 girls’ students and is distributed in November during Sat Paul Mittal National Award function. Cheque will be issued in favor of Institute.
